CIRCLE: Calibration of Infrared Cameras for Lasercom Evaluation
Designed and developed an automated system that runs calibration
tests on laser-communication terminals, capable of sending and
receiving data across any atmospheric medium at light-speed.
Took the runtime of a calibration test series from 2-3 weeks down to
overnight completion.
A comprehensive system to improve the machine translation of ASL
with a design informed by Signing
communities.
Computer vision captures users’ movements and facial features in
real-time. Feature extraction and natural language processing
enabled language modeling, for the conversion of ASL to English
translation.
